Ahsanul Hafiz is a business owner, community leader, and proud Scarborough resident who believes hard work should lead to opportunity.

After coming to Canada in 2002, Hafiz worked while completing his degree at the University of Windsor, where he studied mathematics with a focus on economics, statistics, finance, and business management. Like many newcomers building a life in Canada, he balanced school and work at the same time, starting out working as a delivery driver.

Through determination and hard work, Hafiz eventually became a small business owner in 2012 and expanded his business across Ontario. Today, he owns and operates over 30 small businesses and is one of the province’s largest small business operators.

But for Hafiz, success has always meant giving back to the community that helped him succeed.

Over the years, he has supported local schools, youth programs, hospitals, sports teams, and charitable organizations through donations, sponsorships, and community partnerships.

Today, Hafiz lives in Scarborough with his wife and their two sons.

After 8 years of Doug Ford, Hafiz knows families across Scarborough Southwest are feeling squeezed by rising costs, pressure on public services, and growing uncertainty about the future. He believes the community deserves leadership that understands those challenges firsthand and will fight for lower costs, stronger healthcare, more opportunities for young people, and a government that puts people first.

Hafiz is running to be a strong voice for Scarborough Southwest and help build a more affordable, hopeful future for families across Ontario.
